Modus Named Health Finalist at ONE Awards

At Modus, we say green is the color of collaboration, and last Saturday was a perfect reminder of what that looks like in action.

We were proud to stand alongside so many of our favorite nonprofits at the 2026 ONE Awards as the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits named Modus a finalist in the Health Impact category. Our Executive Director, Heather Smith, accepted on behalf of our team and the drivers who make this work possible every day.

When we talk about access, it is easy to focus on scheduling or cost. Healthcare does not start in a clinic; it starts with whether you can get there.

That is why this recognition matters. It reflects the real, everyday impact of reliable transportation and its role in keeping people connected to care.

Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners. Oklahoma is stronger because of the work happening across this sector. Grateful to be in this work, and even more grateful for the partners, drivers, and riders who trust us to show up when it counts.
