Marketing Coordinator (Full-Time)




The Marketing Coordinator will demonstrate the highest levels of customer service and acceptance for all clients, visitors and staff to assure that the behavior modeled as a Modus leader is congruent with the agency mission and values. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing safe, reliable transportation for Modus Drive clients to medical and social service appointments when program specialists or volunteer drivers are not available, assisting with the development of the organization’s marketing and communications strategy, implementing the marketing strategy, tracking marketing activities, and supporting the Communications Committee Chair with their duties.



Marketing & Communications

  • Manage and execute content for all of Modus’ social media accounts and website, including any marketing campaigns and strategies.

  • Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities and analyze social media metrics.

  • Perform research and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding our reach in the digital space.

  • Develop new social media campaigns from the ground up, considering our clients’ needs and their specific industries.

  • Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas and memes, then capitalize on those trends through our social media accounts.

  • Development and distribution of marketing materials for Modus and ModusEd.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact lists.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and forecasts.

  • Organize promotional activities for new products/services.

  • Maintain and update website when necessary.

  • Prepare monthly client success stories, quarterly newsletters, and annual Impact Report.

  • Facilitate Communications Committee meetings, develop meeting agendas, and distribute materials to committee members in a timely manner.

  • Manage digital volunteering program.

  • Develop and maintain email marketing efforts.  

  • Develop and maintain advertising projects including but not limited to radio ads, google ads, and print ads in magazines and newspapers.  

  • Write and distribute Modus press releases.  


Community Outreach

  • Organize and attend marketing events

  • Seek out invitations to present to community groups, service groups, clubs, community-minded churches.

  • Perform research and analysis into the local non-profit industry and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding our reach in the community.

  • Identify, coordinate, and attend community outreach opportunities such as fairs, festivals, local markets, and organizations with the assistance of the Community Engagement Coordinator.

  • Assist and contribute to Executive Director’s transportation blog.

  • Work with Marketing and Public Relations professionals at nonprofit agencies and Modus Member Agencies to publicize marketing opportunities.

  • Develop and distribute Modus media kits to marketing professionals at Modus Member Agencies.



  • Assist with any other projects, in areas related but not limited to operations, marketing and outreach, recruitment, ModusEd, office management, etc.



  • Full-time, exempt

  • Reports to: Executive Director

  • Salary: Depends on experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
